A former game reserve, whose first owner was Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski. Today’s complex was built in the years 1774/1784 on the initiative of King Stanisław August Poniatowski. He spent the spring and summer months here. It covers an area of 76 ha. It combines elements of a regular French garden with a landscaped English park.

Facilities in the Royal Łazienki Park (Lazienki Park)

We start our guided tour of the Royal Lazienki Park  from one of the symbols of Warsaw – the Fryderyk Chopin Monument.  At the foot of which on summer weekends, from May to September, „live” concerts of the great composer’s music take place. In the vicinity of the park there is also the historic Belvedere Palace.  The most famous host was Marshal Józef Piłsudski. There are many historic buildings in the park that we will see during our walk with Warsaw guide. The Old Orangery, the Theater on the Island, the Water Tower. The Myślewicki Palace, the White House, the Temple of Diana and the Old and New Guardhouses. It was in the Palace on the Isle that the famous Thursday dinners were held. Some of the facilities today serve as cultural facilities. We provide guided tours of selected facilities of the Royal Łazienki.
